Parents at WTLL are strongly encouraged to Volunteer. Coaches and parents working together can produce a great Little League experience for our kids. "Parents
must take the initiative to make the local program successful. Little League is not a club in which membership implies baby-sitting benefits and entertainment priviledges."
If you would like to volunteer for Team Mom, Head Coach, or Assistant Coach, please fill out the "Volunteer Application Form" below and turn in before team practices begin. All parents should complete the "Parent Code of Conduct Form" and turn in to the Head Coach before practices begin. The "Parent Code of Conduct Form" must be on-file with WTLL for your child to participate (i.e., your child will not be allowed to participate on a WTLL team until this form is on-file with WTLL).
At WTLL, Parents are encouraged to be "Second Goal Oriented".
This means: Let the Coach do the Coaching...during pratices & games
Practicing skills with your child anytime before or after practices/games is obviously encouraged.
The Little League Parent/Volunteer Pledge
I will teach all children to play fair and do their best
I will positively support all managers, coaches and players
I will respect the decisions of the umpires
I will praise a good effort despite the outcome of the game
