At WTLL, we typically have anywhere from 3 to 6 T-ball teams.
Both girls and boys play T-Ball. Girls must be 5 years old by December 31, 2009 and boys by April 30th, 2010.
T-ball is for 5 to 6 year olds.
T-ball usually plays once during the week (Tues or Thurs) and then usually once on Saturday. About 12 games total or so. Practices are up to the coaches. Some coaches may practice on
ce per week, some only a few times before the season begins, and other coaches may just practice 30-minutes before a game. Hats and uniforms are included in the costs. Bats, balls, and all the other stuff are also provided by WTLL. All the kids need is their own glove. I would recommend a basic glove from a discount store or similar for this age (around $20 or less). Some kids wear cleats some do not for T-ball.
Basically, we just try and have fun and teach the kids the basics of the game at this age. They end up having a great time
(and the parents/grandparents do too)!
